You’re Admitted! (New)

Congratulations on becoming a Bronco! But there’s still work to be done! This page includes a checklist as well as a general overview of the most important items you need to accomplish before your first day of classes. Haven’t visited campus yet? Choose the tab that best reflects your first semester of attendance.

    • Set up your BroncoWeb and BroncoMail accounts here.
      You’ll need your username and student ID number (from your letter of admission), birthday, and social security number. The first time you access your accounts, click on “Create/Reset Your Password.” Once you set your password, you will be able to log into BroncoWeb and BroncoMail. Check these accounts often – they are your official link to Boise State news!
    • Apply for on-campus housing
    • Apply for Federal Financial Aid (Priority date is February 15)
    • Complete the scholarship application process (Deadline is February 15)
    • Sign up for BroncoVenture Orientation.You will receive an email on March 15 with a link that will allow you to register
    • Attend your Orientation program where you will meet faculty, staff, and other new students and get a head start on preparing for the fall
    • If your admission status is conditional, please submit final official transcripts to: Boise State Admissions, 1910 University Drive, Boise, ID 83725 once you have completed your in-progress courses.
      Please be aware we will need final documents before you can register for your second semester at Boise State
    • Pay fees by 5:00 PM on August 22
    • Move into the Residence Halls & attend Convocation by August 23
    • First day of classes! (August 26)
    • Attend Bronco Welcome activities (August 27-31)

      To be considered for summer financial aid, complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA application. Do the 2013-2014 FAFSA after January 1st if you plan to attend the following academic year. 
    • Complete the scholarship application process
    • Sign up for BroncoVenture Orientation. You will receive an email with a link that will allow you to register
    • Sign up for classes starting March 11
    • Attend your Orientation program where you will meet faculty, staff, and other new students and get a head start on preparing for the fall
    • If your admission status is conditional, have final official transcripts sent to:

    • Pay fees by 5:00 PM on May 16
    • Move into the Residence Halls & attend Convocation on May 17
    • First day of classes! (May 20)
    • August 27-30 Attend Bronco Welcome activities (May 17-31)

    • Register for classes once your registration appointment arrives via your BroncoWeb account.

    • BroncoVenture Orientation – New Student Orientation is available to all new Boise State students.
    • Academic Advising – If you are interested in academic advising for a specific major we suggest you contact the department offering that program.
    • Academic Support – If you are undecided about what to study and would like to develop a plan that will prepare you for a future program, make an appointment with Advising and Academic Enhancement.

Fee Payment

In an effort to go “green” Boise State no longer mails billing statements. To view your BILLING DETAILS and DUE DATES, log on to BroncoWeb, Navigate to Student Center, Account Inquiry (located under the finance section), Charges Due.
