Advanced Medical Imaging Application

Boise State University’s School of Allied Health Sciences and Department of Radiologic Sciences invites you to apply for admission to the Advanced Medical Imaging Program. Information on this application will be used to determine your admissibility into the program. You must apply separately for admission to Boise State University.

Course Fees

I understand the course fees for this program are $395 per credit. These fees are not the same as those for campus-based degree programs.

Technical Requirements

I understand that the program requires technical proficiency utilizing computer technologies (word processing, email, internet, etc.). I have access to high-speed internet and a computer on a daily basis. I am familiar with how to use a web browser. I have a word processing program (Microsoft Word is highly recommended).

Note: This does not apply to the IR/IC Certificate, which does not include a clinical component and instead requires current employment in the field.

I understand that Clinical Sites may require a background check, proof of vaccination/titres, drug tests and/or current CPR certification for healthcare professional certification. Requirements by clinical site may vary and it is my responsibility to understand and follow the requirements of my clinical site. Clinical sites need to be approved by Boise State and the facility 30 days prior to the start of the clinical rotation.

My cumulative GPA calculated from all higher education institutional transcripts must be greater than a 2.7 to be considered for candidacy.
If my cumulative GPA is below 2.7, I will need to complete an additional appeal for program admission which is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Students on academic probation will not be considered.
