Graduate Student Showcase Judge Interest Form

Thank you for your willingness to participate as a Faculty Judge in the 2024 Graduate Student Showcase.

The Showcase event (both in-person and virtual) will be held (Wednesday) April 10. We will need more in-person judges than virtual as the virtual option is limited to graduate students in online-only programs and thus generally has fewer students.  You do not have to be present the entire session period, however you must complete all of your judging during your assigned two-hour period as posters change across the two sessions.

On the morning of the event, you will be provided with a list of (no more than) 10 student entries to judge, their poster location at Showcase (or a link to access the posters on Fourwaves, if you are judging the virtual event), and a copy of the rubric that you will use to judge the entries. At the end of the event, you will be asked to return your judging results to the Graduate College. The more judges we have, the fewer the number of entries each person will have to judge and the shorter the amount of time each judge will have to commit (i.e., not the entire two hours per session). Additional instructions will be provided as the event nears.
