Three Minute Thesis Registration Fall 2024

Hosted annually by the Graduate College, the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition offers a fun and engaging professional development opportunity for graduate students at Boise State. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to grow, show off your research, and make Boise State proud. Three Minute Thesis requires participants to present their capstone, dissertation, project, portfolio, thesis, or any other research in three minutes, with just one slide. The deadline to register is Friday, November 8th, at midnight. Sign Up Today 3MT Participants • Compete for cash awards ranging from $250 to $750 • Earn the right to represent Boise State at the Statewide 3MT, as well as regional and national competitions (BSU has won the regional championship two years running) • Build effective communication, presentation, and networking skills • Have fun sharing their scholarship with a larger audience Expert faculty and staff will coach and support you with an exclusive workshop series that covers all you need to know to succeed. The workshops include how to communicate your scholarship effectively, build a confident stage presence, and create an engaging supporting slide. This year’s competition will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2024, from 10 a.m. - noon.
