    Frequently Asked Questions

    To check the status of your admissions application, log into your Admissions Portal here. You will need to use your myBoiseState username and password. This information was emailed to you shortly after applying. You can use your Admissions Portal to check your application's status, view if your transcripts have been received and explore imporant next steps.

    Official transcripts are required to complete your admissions application.  There are a couple of ways you can send your official transcripts:

    • Mail an official transcript directly from your school in a sealed school envelope to the Admissions Office

    • Send an official transcript as a secure PDF utilizing a secure delivery service to transcripts-admissions@boisestate.edu

    Welcome to the Bronco Family!  Next, you'll want to reserve your spot in the incoming class by submitting your Intent to Enroll online.  This will allow you to register for housing, sign up for orientation, secure offered scholarships and ensure the processing of your final enrollment materials!

    You'll be able to register for your classes at Winter or Summer Orientation, depending on the semester you'll begin at Boise State. Additionally, during Orientation you'll learn all about what it means it to be a Bronco. Orientation will connect you to campus resources that will help you along your journey to the classroom and outside of it.

    We have automatic consideration for some of our scholarships when you apply for admissions by the priority deadline.  For Idaho residents, the application and scholarship priority deadline is February 15th, 2024.  For non-residents, the application and scholarship priority deadline is December 15th, 2023.  Additionally, we have a general scholarship application that will be available to admitted students in December.
