    Admitted High School Students

This one hour session is designed specifically for admitted students. During this presentation, you'll have the opportunity to engage with an Admissions Counselor and a current Boise State student who will help guide you through your key next steps to ensure you are prepared (and excited!) to join us this fall as a Boise State Bronco! We will cover information regarding scholarships and financial aid, intent to enroll, housing and orientation.

    Next Step Sessions

Each of these sessions are designed to give you an in depth look at important topics like Financial Aid, Housing, Orientation and Veteran Services. These sessions will be attended by representatives from each department with a live Q&A session for you and your family to participate in!

    Next Steps:  Financial Aid

Tuition, grants and loans. Oh my! Understanding financial aid can be tricky, and it is our goal to assist you as best we can.  Next Steps:  Financial Aid will touch on the FAFSA, where to access and accept student aid, and how to run a personalized bottom line estimator. Participate in a Q&A with Financial Aid and Scholarships staff to learn more about financing your college education.

    Next Steps: Housing

Living on campus is the best way to get the full Boise State experience. Next Steps:  Housing will showcase the on campus residence hall options for first year students, explain the benefit of joining the Living Learning Program, and prepare students to confidently submit their housing application. Participate in a Q&A with Housing and Residence Life staff and Admissions staff to get the full scoop on anything housing related.

Next Steps: Preparing for Summer Orientation

Note:  Students will not register for classes during this session.  Please see the description below.

During this optional session we plan to cover the ins and outs of the Orientation process. Summer Orientation registration dates will be released soon and we want to make sure you're best prepared! This session will also include representatives from the New Student Programs (Orientation) team to help answer your questions.

    Next Steps:  Utilizing Veteran Benefits

As a veteran-affiliated student, this session is all about helping you make the most of the resources and benefits available to you. Boise State staff will walk you through the process of accessing and utilizing your veteran education benefits, like the GI Bill®, and share an overview of the services we offer to support you on campus and beyond.
