  • Now

    • Meet with your department chair and determine which courses are required to complete your second degree. Bring a copy of your transcript(s) from each school where you have earned college credit. To find contact information based on your major go to academics.boisestate.edu.
    • Identify with your department chair the transfer courses that are needed as prerequisites in your second degree and complete the Second Baccalaureate Degree Transfer Credit Request Form.
    • Submit an approved list or check sheet of the courses required for your second degree to the Evaluators in the Registrar’s Office, Administration Building, Room 110. Your department may choose to forward the form for you, but it is your responsibility to ensure that the Registrar’s Office receives a copy. If you have completed the Second Baccalaureate Degree Transfer Credit Request Form, submit it to the Registrar’s Office. Completion of this form will initiate the process of allowing some of your transfer courses to be used as requisites and recognize by my.BoiseState when you register for courses. It is especially beneficial to follow this process if
you will need the same prerequisites in subsequent semesters. Please allow up to two weeks for processing the transfer credit request form.
    • Apply for graduation during the semester before you intend to graduate, but no later than end of the first week of the semester you intend to graduate (see the Academic Calendar at registrar.boisestate.edu/academic-calendar.shtml
for the exact date). You may apply for graduation online through your my.BoiseState student account. A nonrefundable graduation application fee must be paid when applying.

  • This checklist of information is provided to students who are applying to one of Boise State’s fully online undergraduate degree programs.
