The GEM Scholarship is a highly-competitive for qualified nonresidents that waives the full time nonresident portion of tuition for international students.
To meet the priority date for nonresident scholarships, all admission materials for new and transfer students must be received in Admissions by December 15, 2016. Students whose admissions materials after December 15th will be considered if scholarship resources remain available.
The New International Student Scholarship is awarded to outstanding international students who demonstrate academic achievement and a commitment to being a successful international student at Boise State University. The scholarship waives the non-resident portion of Boise State University tuition – a savings of approximately $14,600 per year! You are still responsible for in-state fees (currently approximately $3,800 per semester). You may qualify to have your scholarship renewed for up to 4 years, so long as you continue to make reasonable progress towards a degree and you meet the criteria for renewal. The Khang and Friends Scholarship is a Boise State scholarship established by Alumnus Nguyen Trong Khang to support Vietnamese-Citizen students attending Boise State University. Applicants must be Vietnamese citizens with a record of academic excellence.
