We encourage you to begin planning for your education early. Boise State University has established priority deadlines for receipt of your admission application to allow for optimum orientation date and processing of financial aid. Priority deadlines for undergraduate degree-seeking students are as follows:
Fall/Summer Admission Priority Dates
- Nonresident Priority Application Date: December 15
- Scholarship Priority Date: February 15
- Standard Application Date: May 15
Spring Admission Priority Dates
- Scholarship Priority Date: October 1
- Standard Application Date: November 15
To guarantee you will be considered for degree seeking admission for your designated semester, the Admissions Office must receive your application and all supporting materials by the priority deadline. After the priority deadline, degree seeking applications will be considered on a space available basis.
To be considered for financial aid, you must have degree-seeking status.
To be considered for most scholarships, all admission materials for new and transfer students needed to be received in the Admissions Office by February 15, 2018. The Nonresident Priority Application Deadline is December 15, 2017. Please visit the Financial Aid and Scholarships web page for additional information about Boise State scholarships.
International student deadlines are earlier.
