Student tour guides will share their Bronco experience with you during a brisk 90-minute walking tour that showcases a variety of classrooms, the Student Union, athletic facilities, residence halls and historical places along the tour route. Upon receipt of your reservation, a confirmation letter, a map, and directions will be mailed to you.

Guided campus tours are offered twice daily Monday through Friday from September through May.

Attend an Information Session

Whether you're just beginning your search or are already admitted to Boise State, you'll learn something new.

  • Discuss your admission and financial aid questions with an enrollment counselor.
  • Information sessions are offered Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon

Meet with a Faculty Member or Advisor*

Discuss your goals with faculty and staff who can provide expert academic and career information.

  • Learn about degree requirements in your intended major.
  • Find out about the research, internship and career opportunities available to you.

* Two week's notice is required for faculty requests.

Tips for a Successful Campus Visit

  • Please allow two weeks notice prior to the date of your visit for scheduling purposes. We'll do our best to accommodate requests received less than two weeks in advance, however not all options may be available.
  • Plan to visit when classes are in session in order to experience the true campus atmosphere.
  • Research! Come prepared with a list of questions to ask enrollment counselors, professors, current students and staff during your visit.
  • Remember to bring comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the season if you will be participating in the campus tour.

What if I have already been admitted to Boise State?

What is covered in the Information Session?

Enrollment Counselors conduct the information session, where you will get a comprehensive view of Boise State’s admission process, scholarships, housing options and student life.

If you’re still “shopping” for a college, the information session provides everything you need to know before making your final college decision!

If you have already been admitted to Boise State, you’ll learn more about what to expect during your Orientation program. Please note that the information session does not take the place of the Orientation program.

When can I visit the campus?

The best time to visit campus is when classes are in session. Above is a calendar of available dates.

Where do I start my campus visit?

All campus visits begin at the Admissions Office located on the first floor of the Administration Building, room 101. An information packet and itinerary will be available for you upon arrival.

Where do I park when I visit campus?

Parking directions will be included in your itinerary. We will provide parking in the Administration Lot and Admissions staff will validate your parking pass when your campus visit is complete. If you choose to park elsewhere, you are responsible for parking costs. Campus parking map.

How do I get to Boise State University?

Boise State is located between Broadway Avenue and Capitol Boulevard, just a short distance from Interstate 84. The Broadway and Vista exits are closest to campus. Several major airlines serve the Boise area including Alaska, America West, Delta, Frontier, Horizon, Northwest, Southwest, SkyWest, and United.

Can I tour the residence halls?
