Budget for the 2008/09 Academic Year
Full-time fees for Undergraduate students are:
- Idaho Residents.....$4,632* per year
- Nonresidents........$13,208* per year
For Graduate students:
- Idaho Residents.....$5,504* per year
- Nonresidents........$14,080* per year
Don't forget that you will have other expenses while in college! Here is a sample budget used by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office for calculating your estimated** costs while attending Boise State.

For students attending 11-month programs at Boise State, you will have additional costs for fees, books, room and board, etc.
Summer Session Fees
Students (residents and nonresidents) enrolled in summer courses will pay per-credit.
- Summer 2008
- Undergraduate per-credit fee will be $222 and Graduate per-credit fee will be $267.
- Summer 2009
- Resident undergraduate per-credit fee = $233
- Nonresident undergraduate per-credit fee = $308
- Resident graduate per-credit fee = $280
- Nonresident graduate per-credit fee = $355
Part-time Student Fees
Students taking 7 or fewer credits per semester pay part-time fees, which is a per-credit rate. Nonresident students who take 7 or fewer credits pay an additional $75/credit.
- Resident undergraduate per-credit fee = $238
- Nonresident undergraduate per-credit fee = $313
- Resident graduate per-credit fee = $285
- Nonresident graduate per-credit fee = $360
Nonresident Tuition
Students who are not residents of Idaho and taking 8 or more credits must pay nonresident tuition plus fees.
Nonresident Tuition is $4,288 per semester plus the $2,316 in undergraduate fees for a total of $6,604 per semester.
