Budget for the 2009/10 Academic Year
Full-time fees for Undergraduate students are:
- Idaho Residents.....$4,864* per year
- Nonresidents........$13,868* per year
For Graduate students:
- Idaho Residents.....$5,756* per year
- Nonresidents........$14,760* per year
Don't forget that you will have other expenses while in college! Here is a sample budget used by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office for calculating your estimated** costs while attending Boise State.

Summer Session Fees
Students (residents and nonresidents) enrolled in summer courses will pay per-credit.

- Undergraduate per-credit fee = $233
- Graduate per-credit fee = $280
- Summer 2010
- Undergraduate per-credit fee = $236
- Graduate per-credit fee = $285
Part-time Student Fees
Students taking fewer than 12 credits per semester pay part-time fees. Nonresident students who take fewer than 12 credits pay part time fees plus an additional $80/credit.
- Part-time - per credit rate (1-9 credits) = $252 per credit
- Part-time - flat rate (10 credits) = $2,324
- Part-time - flat rate (11 credits) = $2,378
- Nonresident tuition - per credit rate (1-11 credits) = part-time fees + $80/credit
Nonresident Tuition
Students who are not residents of Idaho must pay fees plus nonresident tuition.
Undergraduate fees ( $2,432/semester) + Nonresident Tuition ($4,502/semester) = $6,934/semester
