Probationary Status

You must attain at least a 2.0 grade-point average in your first semester at Boise State. If you fail to do so, you will be dismissed from the university and will be ineligible to attend Boise State for at least one semester. If you are dismissed from the university a second time, you will be ineligible to attend for at least one year.

You are assigned probationary status if any of the following apply:

• You transferred to Boise State with less than a 2.0 grade-point average for your previous college-level study.
• You attended Boise State and left the university on academic probation. Even if you have successfully completed courses at another institution since leaving Boise State, you will re-enter on probationary status.
