Jumpstart Programs
The Jump Start at Boise State program was established by Boise State University to allow capable students to take college-level courses while still in high school or before they complete a high school equivalent program. Students can earn college and high school credit simultaneously. Accumulating college credit while in high school can accelerate a student's degree completion and result in cost savings. Please read the following information to learn more about how to take classes on the Boise State campus.
There a number of university courses offered for dual credit at your high school with Boise State’s Concurrent Enrollment Program. These classes are offered during your school’s schedule and at a reduced cost of $65 per credit. For a complete list of participating high schools and classes offered, check out our Concurrent Enrollment program.

Can the credits and grades I receive at Boise State transfer to my high school grade report?
One of the advantages of taking a class at Boise State is that you have the opportunity to get a head start on your college career while finishing up your high school graduation requirements. Since all high schools are different, please talk to your school advisor or guidance counselor about the appropriate classes to take at Boise State that will transfer back to your high school.
Are the credits I complete at Boise State going to be transferable to other colleges?
Boise State University is a regionally accredited institution; therefore, most colleges/universities will accept Boise State credits. However, you do need to verify the transferability of any credits with the school of your choice.
