Finish in Four: Four Year Graduation Guarantee
Boise State University is committed to increasing student success, responding to the education needs of its community, and addressing limited financial resources. The Finish in Four program guarantees that students who follow a planned course of study can complete their degree in four years. If not, Boise State will pay for the additional required courses. As President Kustra explains, "It is designed to give students who have the desire and motivation to complete a degree at Boise State University in four years the support they need to achieve their goal." Capital Scholars
The Capital Scholars program recognizes Idaho’s outstanding high school Juniors who not only rank in the top ten percent of their class but also score within the top ten percent of a national standardized test. The cut-off scores to qualify in the top 10 percent of the college entrance exams are: 27 or higher on the ACT, 1220 or higher on the critical reading and math sections of the SAT or 122 or higher on the critical reading and math sections of the PSAT. Students must have completed one of the aforementioned exams by January of their Junior year to qualify.
Selected honorees are invited, along with their parents or guardians, to an on campus program to recognize their achievements. During the program each Capital Scholar receives a renewable $1000 scholarship to Boise State University for up to five years. Students must attend the program and enroll at Boise State University the semester immediately following their high school graduation to accept the scholarship.

Honors College - Brown Scholarship
The Honors College offers talented, highly motivated students the personalized attention of a small liberal arts school while drawing upon the resources of a metropolitan research University. The Honors College also offers a variety of competitive merit based scholarships including the Brown Honor Scholarship. Brown Honors Scholarships are worth up to $12,000 and are available each year for incoming honors students. The award is renewable for four consecutive years. Test Scores and Receiving Credit
Receiving Credit for English Composition Based on Test Scores
Do you feel confident that you have acquired all the writing skills necessary to succeed in English 102 and other college courses? If you scored high enough on your test scores you can earn credit for English 101 and English 102. Please submit your Request Form to the Registrar’s Office in the Administration Building.
The following scores can be used to obtain English Composition Credit:

AP Advanced Placement Examinations
AP transcripts are sent to Boise State University by the Educational Testing Service during the summer. If students have taken an AP exam but did not designate BSU as a recipient, the student can request a copy of their AP transcript sent to:

IBO International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Examinations
Only high school level IB exams will receive college-level credit at Boise State University. A minimum score of 4 is required to receive credit.
