Congratulations on becoming a Bronco! Be proud. Give yourself a pat on the back. Your admission to Boise State proves that you have the ability and desire to thrive in our vibrant campus community.
But there’s still work to be done! This page includes a checklist as well as a general overview of the most important items you need to accomplish before your first day of classes.
A campus visit is a great way to confirm your decision to attend Boise State.
Intent to Enroll / Accept Your Offer
Beginning February 15, 2012: Once you are admitted to Boise State, file your Intent to Enroll so we can plan for your arrival on campus. The Intent to Enroll is not a legally binding agreement, nor is there a deadline or a deposit; it’s simply a way to help you through the process and provide access to the Orientation programs.
Orientation
We have targeted programs to suit your specific needs as a first-year, traditional-aged student, non-traditional student, or transfer student.
These programs will allow you to explore all the essentials for a great start at Boise State University, including:
- Meeting Orientation Leaders, faculty advisors university staff, and other new students
- Discovering campus services
- Registering for classes
- Navigating BroncoWeb
- Great resources for family members
- Specialized programs for first-year, transfer, and non-traditional students

Check out University Housing
University Housing is a thriving, dynamic home to more than 2,300 students. Between the people, the places and the programs, the Housing experience provides something for everyone. The door is open.
- Apply for Housing early; your application is process in the order the deposit is received.
- Get focused in one of our Living Learning Communities: The Residential College, First year Focus and Global Village.
- Receive your room assignment after May 1 via BroncoMail.
Review your Financial Aid and Scholarship Award
Log into your BroncoWeb account to review your financial aid and scholarship award to accept or refuse. You have 30 days from the date of the offer to notify the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office.
Final Official Transcripts
Even though you have successfully been admitted, don’t forget to have your high school or college send your final official transcript to Boise State so your admission status can be changed from "conditional" to "regular". You have until the end of your first semester at Boise State to submit these transcripts. If you do not submit final official transcripts by this time, your admission status will be dropped to "non-degree seeking".
